The initial accord is a creamy toasted hazelnut spread on a slice of buttered toasted white bread. Some sweet fruity alcohol, just a splash. A net of amber caramel as a garnish. Suddenly, within the hazelnut liqueur accord, I found a pungent green note reminiscent of fig and its leaves joining strangely with the caramelized burnt sugar.
