Truefitt & Hill Grafton Cologne is a men’s spicy eau de cologne.Grafton is a fragrance whose name is intertwined with and inspired by Britain’s rich naval tradition. This classic woody Eau de Cologne with spicy oriental notes was named to commemorate a long line of warships HMS Grafton. The completion of the first ship HMS Grafton in 1679 marked the beginning of a long and noble history for a long line of ships that have borne that name and served around the world from the 17th century to the present day. The name “Grafton” was given to Truefitt’s newly blended fragrance in 1983 at the suggestion of one of HMS Grafton’s officers who, while being looked after by a Truefitt’s barber, particularly liked this unmistakably masculine and fougère aroma, suggested that the new fragrance be named after the graceful line of HM battleships.
